What are the best gifts for women to give/buy for men?

Wow! Cool Gift!

We all want to hear these words of great appreciation when giving a gift, but sometimes we don't. The very best thing to do is to take notice of anything your male friend really needs, complains about needing(or wanting), or states a desire for (like "Oh, I love that movie, I gotta have it for my movie library!").

Sometimes men need or want things, but refuse to go out and buy them for themselves, such as:

* Electric shavers/hair trimmers- This may not seem romantic, but some men are more basic and practical. You can put this in a gift bag with other smaller goodies (candies, cookies, coupons).

* Underware- For some reason, some men don't break down and go buy new ones. A pack of his favorites in a gift bag with other goodies (coffee store coupons, movie tickets, his favorite cookies, etc.) If underware are too personal, you can replace them with a nice tie (if he has to wear them for work), sports gear from his favorite team (a cap or t-shirt),a nice wallet or belt.

Here are some other suggestions:

* Computer Lover- A gift certificate to his favorite tech store in a gift bag with some small goodies will be nice (a new mouse pad,a can of air for dusting, something sweet to eat,or coffee store coupons).

*Simple Dude-Maybe he's so laid back, he doesn't ask or expect much. So if you know where he likes to eat (or if you know his favorite type of food), you can give him a gift card to a restaurant he enjoys. Or maybe he has never been to a certain restaurant, but you know they have his favorite kind of food, so you check it out together, and make it a birthday tradition for the following years to come.Everyone has to eat, and it's nice when you don't have to cook and just enjoy each others company.

*Active Type- If he enjoys being out, most cities have hiking and biking trails. Pack a nice picnic, and go somewhere neither of you have been. Be sure to take pictures too! Maybe a camping trip for a weekend, find a wall climbing place ( I am not sure what they are called), a boat tour, a walking tour. Chances are there are parts of your own city neither of you have visited.

*Greatly Groomed-Some guys like to pamper themselves as women do, they like to manicure their nails, tweeze their eyebrows, and gel their hair. There's nothing wrong with this, if he's this type, buy some of his favorite cologne. Make sure it is one he knows and loves, you never want to guess a guy will like a certain cologne. That is a very personal choice. Many of the nice colognes are expensive, but if you can find a nice "kit" by his favorite cologne makers, this may work out nicer. The "kits" (they have other names for them, like sampler,or gift sets) usually contain a small cologne,a small lotion that smells like the cologne, bath gel, shaving gel, etc. Sometimes these can be pricey, but like my father used to say "you get what you pay for", they cost a lot because they quality is usually great, and the scent last a while. You don't have to use a great amount to smell good.

*Sentimental-Maybe he has one decent photo of his father, and it's a small one. You can (very carefully!) take this photo to a professional photo place, have them enlarge it, and place it in a nice frame . You don't want to trust this photo to a Walgreens (nothing against Walgreens), a very special and only original shouldn't be shoved in an envelope and tossed into a pile with fifty others.

I hope I have helped some, sorry I suggest gift cards so much, but I would rather give these, then something they won't use or like. Like I said, most men are a little more basic, and don't mind if their gift is not frilly or romantic. Good luck.
